Fundraisers

Fundraising is a part of amateur sports. The Burlington Bulls Rep and Burlington Bears Select teams are running events to help upgrade equipment, enter tournaments support kids on each team.

Burlington Bulls Minor Peewee (12U) AAA:
The team is holding a poker night Friday January 31st at the Halton Naval Legion. For details >> tony_patzalek@nortownphoto.com

Burlington Bears Select:
The team is holding a Texas Hold 'Em Poker night Saturday February 8th at the Burlington Legion (Brach 60). For details >> davemanning751@gmail.com

Cooperstown (Minor PeeWee):
Each year the Burlington Bulls send their Minor PeeWee teams to Cooperstown, NY (the birthplace of baseball) for a week-long tournament against teams from all across the USA.
The AA team is holding a fundraising dinner/silent auction on Friday, February 21st at the Polish Hall on Fairview Street.

Burlington Baseball in 2014 - Let’s Play Ball!

We hope everyone is having a happy and safe Holiday Season!  With the calendar changing to January our House League registration begins.  House League registration opens online January 2nd.

BOMBA has been busy in the off season organizing the 2014 training & development plan, House League season, Challenger baseball program, and Burlington Bears Select program.

2014 Board of Directors

Volunteering for the BOMBA Board of Directors is an opportunity to give back to the grand old ball game and help shape the direction of the organization for current and future generations. The majority of positions are filled for 2014, however we still have openings available for the following positions:
- Director of Concessions
- Director of Fundraising
- Director of House League Player & Coach Development
- Director of High Performance Baseball (Bantam to Junior)
Helping with these key areas will strengthen the BOMBA organization, making it a more enjoyable experience for the kids.

2013 Season Recap

What Happened in 2013? LOTS!!
2013 marked a tremendously successful year for baseball in Burlington. Registration increased 9% from 2012 and several new Programs were introduced:
  • Development Programs
    • Conducted 8 development sessions for REP players
    • Conducted both HL and REP coach clinics
    • Conducted Level 1 and 2 Umpire Clinics
    • Hosted 6 tournaments including Junior Eliminations, Minor Rookie Ball COBA playoffs, Minor Bantam COBA qualifiers, and Minor Bantam provincial championship
    • Select Baseball
    • Challenger Baseball
    • 13U Fall Development Program
    • Umpire Development Success Stories
